This collaboration marks a significant milestone for the legal sector, combining RSGI’s global intelligence and research expertise with Legal IT Insider’s trusted journalism and international reach.

RSGI is known for its 20-year content and research partnership with the FT Innovative Lawyers programme (FTIL). Through this partnership, Legal IT Insider and RSGI will deliver regular and in-depth editorial content, blending deep and broad historical insight, rigorous research, interviews, and critical analysis.

Caroline Hill, CEO of LITI is a former City lawyer and experienced journalist with a 20-year track record in the legal media sector. She previously served as news editor at Legal Business Magazine and before that worked as a senior reporter at Legal Week. The LITI team consists of sales and technology experts in the UK and United States, where our lead analyst and technology consultant Neil Cameron now resides. LITI is famous for its UK Top 200 data showing which firms use which technology, with a major 2025 update out next week.

Reena SenGupta, RSGI’s founder and executive director, has a 30-year track record in the industry that includes creating the ranking methodology, research and editorial approach for the Chambers & Partners Guides in the mid-90s and developing them into leading guides over six years and founding the FT’s innovation series in 2006. RSGI’s team consists of veteran legal industry analysts, Yasmin Lambert and Tom Saunders, as well as Neville Hawcock (an FT editor with 30 years’ experience), Chris Sharp (who leads the FT research) and a 10-strong research and writing team.

Key features of the collaboration will include monthly editorial content, including interviews and research-driven articles; joint commitment to editorial independence, quality, and transparency; and a global platform for sharing best practice, innovation, and market analysis.
