Jus Mundi, the AI-powered global arbitration intelligence platform, and the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), one of the world’s most respected arbitral institutions, today (3 December) announced a strategic collaboration to advance international arbitration through knowledge sharing, training initiatives, and innovative AI-driven solutions.
This collaboration brings together the LCIA’s institutional expertise and global reach with Jus Mundi’s arbitration-first AI technology to support and develop arbitration practice through education, research, and technological advancement. It is not a data sharing partnership, but will help LCIA to build out AI workflows and the pair hope to deliver practical solutions that enhance research, analysis, and decision-making.
Kevin Nash, director general of LCIA, said: “Our partnership with Jus Mundi reflects a forward-looking approach to integrating technology, including AI, into the practice of arbitration. Education, training and joint research give us the right entry points to understand the needs of users, counsel, arbitrators, and institutions and to consider how future technologies and tools can be intelligently designed for next-generation arbitrations. LCIA’s case management experience and Jus Mundi’s technical expertise in arbitration intelligence will provide a robust platform to guide the next phase of arbitration practice. We look forward to advancing this important work together.”
As the collaboration develops, both organisations will continue to identify and test areas to evaluate opportunities where AI can add real value while ‘maintaining the quality and procedural integrity that define excellence in international arbitration.’
Jean-Rémi de Maistre, CEO & co-founder of Jus Mundi, said: “The LCIA has set the standard for institutional excellence in international arbitration for decades. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to advancing the field through innovation that serves practitioners. By combining LCIA’s institutional expertise with our arbitration-first AI technology, we can deliver practical solutions that enhance research, analysis, and decision-making. This is not about technology for its own sake. It is about giving the arbitration community tools built by arbitration professionals, for arbitration professionals.”
